Mr and Mrs Shore are announcing the birth of their child. The note is being sent out with the weight as well as the date of birth. The child was recently born and since they could not notify their loved ones of the recent birth, they had to resort to using postcards as a way of communication since it was cheap and easy to send to all of their friends and families.
