Tallahassee, Florida, 9-7-1918
This is to certify that Miss Laura Quayle has been assigned a place in the dormitory of Florida State College for Women for the session beginning Wednesday, September 18, 1918. Room 320; floor 3rd; dormitory Broward.
-
N. B. This certificate must be presented to the Matron immediately upon the arrival of the appointee at College. It is not transferrable. If anything should make it necessary for the appointment to be surrendered, notice should be given to the President at the earliest possible moment in order that he may assign the place to one of the many girls applying for admission to the College. It would not be just to the other applicants or to the interest of the College for the one holding this Certificate to keep it after she becomes uncertain about being able to use it. Students are required to be present the first day of School. Those not present then will forfeit their places. Next Session begins September 18th. This Certificate will not hold good later than the night of September 18th. Students should be at College the day before the session begins.
Every Student should put upon her trunk before leaving home, her name and the number of her room, with the floor and dormitory to which she has been assigned. This will insure prompt and safe delivery of baggage, A Trunk Tag is herewith enclosed for this purpose.
In order to insure prompt delivery of your mail, have it addressed, care of College giving Dormitory and Room Number.
Upon arrival at Tallahassee do not give your Baggage Check to any one at the depot, but keep it until you reach the college, where some one will take it and see to the delivery of your baggage.
